Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) are technologies that have the potential to revolutionize the way we work, interact with each other, with our environment, and the way we experience and feel things. These technologies have become very popular over the last few years due to the numerous and recent evolutions of the technologies that make up the architecture of XR systems, of which photonics is one of the pillars, but also due to the fact that society has truly accepted these technologies, which is a relatively new phenomenon.
PHABULOuS will be present in the EPIC event on “Photonics for AR/VR/MR: from Design to System Integration and Mass Production” at Jabil Optics. And the purpose of this meeting is to critically review the main and most promising emerging technologies addressing AR/VR applications as well as give an overview of all the manufacturing steps.
